A lot of stuff happened this week, and of course I never got around to writing about it because I'm me, but I did take a few pictures of things.
Here's a little summary:
The sun came out at some point early in the week, which is always a momentous occasion in Portland.
I have the best cats and they are extremely photogenic. I wish I were a better photographer so I could do them justice.
I replaced a non-user-replaceable battery because that's just how I roll. Now my Nexus 5X gets an acceptable amount of battery life and I have been using it this week instead of my iPhone because I am constitutionally incapable of using the same phone for more than a month or two.
I finally finished a scarf that I was working on as part of a knit-along, and then promptly mailed it off to someone as a gift.
I went to the sleep clinic because I've been having terrible insomnia for months and months and months, and they gave me a nice take home kit to measure my breathing and heart rate and all as I sleep. The German got to practice his medical skills at home by taping the nasal cannula to my face, but not without accidentally poking me in the eye first. Look out, patients!
A whole bunch of other stuff happened, but I'm still getting used to this whole thing where I document my life so I didn't get any pictures of them. Like, I rode my bike a lot yesterday, but I tend not to take any photos while I'm doing that because (1) really - do you think it's a good idea for me to be taking photos while riding a bike in traffic??, and (2) it's usually raining at least part of the time that I'm riding, and the last time I tried taking photos in the rain, they all turned out horrible because my lens got wet. But whatever. I can only get better at this, right?
